Teacher Observation Hours Request
(Not connected with formal student teaching.)
Alternative Certification Candidates (i.e., Region XII Program, ACP Program) or current college or university students requiring classroom observation hours not coordinated through the university must complete the following steps in requesting permission to observe in Temple ISD.
Attach the following documents:
- Acceptance letter from an alternative program describing the observation request requirement of the program OR
- The course syllabus describing required observation hours
An Observation Clearance Form with campus assignment will be emailed once the approval has been granted. Candidates are then able to contact the assigned campus to schedule observation times. A Picture ID and the Observation Clearance Form must be shown to the campus upon reporting for observation.
Campus Principals reserve the right to limit the number of observation students permitted on their campus at any given time as well as the days/dates observations will be allowed.
Deadline to request observation hours for the Spring semester is April 10, 2020.
